2025-26 ACIP for Westlawn Middle School

At Westlawn Middle School, we are dedicated to helping every Falcon feel valued, supported, and ready to soar! Our Annual Continuous Improvement Plan (ACIP) is our roadmap for success — guiding the goals, strategies, and actions that help us grow stronger together.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, we are focusing on two big areas:

  • Student Success: Helping all students grow in reading and math, while closing learning gaps and giving teachers the tools and support they need to help every child shine.

  • Safe and Supportive Environment: Making sure every student feels connected, cared for, and excited to come to school each day as we work to reduce absenteeism and boost engagement.

We believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and teamwork help our students become confident learners and leaders in our community. Together, we’re building a bright future — one Falcon at a time!

2025-26 Strategy Map

Westlawn Middle School’s 2025–2026 Annual Continuous Improvement Plan (ACIP) outlines a structured approach to improving student outcomes through consistent implementation, monitoring, and reflection.

Our plan focuses on four key implementation areas:

  • Academic Achievement: Teachers will implement 10-day, standards-based lesson plans, conduct weekly collaborative planning, and track student progress using iReady, P2P, and common formative assessments to improve reading and math proficiency by 5%.

  • Professional Development: Faculty and staff will participate in in-state and out-of-state professional learning, as well as ongoing content PLCs, to enhance instructional strategies and promote high-quality, differentiated teaching.

  • Equity in Learning: Targeted supports, including Tier II instruction, EL interventions, and collaborative teaching, will ensure that all students—particularly those in special populations—receive equitable opportunities for growth and success.

  • Attendance and Engagement: The administrative team will monitor attendance weekly, recognize students for perfect attendance, and partner with families through SART meetings and engagement events to decrease chronic absenteeism.

Each initiative includes clear benchmarks, timelines, and accountability measures to guide implementation and track progress throughout the year. By following this plan with fidelity, Westlawn continues to advance its mission of providing a supportive, high-performing environment where every Falcon can thrive.
