Principal s Message

Falcon Family,

I am delighted and honored to serve as Principal of Westlawn Middle School. I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students and am looking forward to making this an exceptional school year.

My educational career includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education: English Language Arts, a Master of Education degree in English Language Arts, a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership, and a certificate in Instructional Leadership. My professional career includes nine years teaching English and serving as an assistant principal for three years.

I am committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with faculty, staff, parents, and community stakeholders in order to build a foundation that will enable all students to obtain high academic success. Further, I aim to empower each student to become productive citizens and lifelong learners. If, over the course of 25 years, I am able to touch the life of one child, then at least I would know that I have done some good for the world at large.
