Ambassadors
Cultivating Leadership!
The WMS Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students to represent Westlawn in a positive aspect while helping build community within our school. Student Ambassadors serve as the core student representatives of WMS and must demonstrate the following characteristic: honesty, responsibility, dedication, kindness, service, and school spirit.
WMS Ambassador Responsibilities:
- Attend all Ambassador Meetings
- Serve as office and library aids during electives
- Morning and afternoon announcements
- Assist with Open House
- Assist with WMS concerts, ceremonies, and assemblies (in-school and after school)
- Assist with all PTA Meetings (after school)
- Attend Sporting Events
- Display WMS Core values, and uphold the WMS/TCS Code of Conduct
- Assist WMS administration
- Serve WMS student body representatives when there are guests in the building.
- Participate in Read Across America, and many other volunteer opportunities during the school year
Cost to join? NO.
Applications go out in the Spring, and all 6th and 7th graders interested are encouraged apply for the following academic year.
