Falcon Stars Compete at the University of Alabama

Our Westlawn Coding & Robotics Falcon Stars competed in the 2026 Alabama Robotics and Coding Competition on Saturday, April 4, at the Bryant Conference Center at the University of Alabama.

We are incredibly proud of Charles, Zyriah, Kaycee, AyDen, and Lucio for their hard work, creativity, and perseverance. Using the Sphero RVR+, the team programmed their robot to autonomously navigate Angry Birds–themed obstacles and challenges while competing against 18 middle school teams from across Alabama.

Our Falcon Stars represented Westlawn with teamwork, innovation, and Falcon pride throughout the competition. 🤖

A special thank you to Star Quarles and Star Evans for providing our students with this incredible opportunity to explore coding, robotics, and real-world problem-solving.
