Athletics

Westlawn Middle School Athletics is committed to excellence in every sport we offer. Westlawn currently sponsors eight athletic programs for students in the 7th and 8th grades. Upon the conclusion of each middle school season and when eligible, student-athletes may advance vertically to compete at the junior high and high school levels.

As a member of Tuscaloosa City Schools’ Western Cluster, our student-athletes transition to compete with the Central High School Falcons, a 5A AHSAA program, continuing the tradition of discipline, pride, and competitive excellence.

WMS DragonFly

To be eligible for participation in Westlawn Middle School Athletics, a parent or legal guardian must complete all required forms through the DragonFly Max online portal. In addition, student-athletes must have a current physical examination on file, completed by a licensed physician. Physicals are valid for one calendar year and are recommended to be updated annually in May or August to ensure continuous eligibility.
