Track and Field Information

Students currently enrolled in the 7th and 8th grades are eligible to try out for and participate on the Track and Field team. Students enrolled in the 6th grade will become eligible to try out upon successful completion of their 6th grade academic year.

• Updated physicals are required to try out for and participate in Track and Field.

Congratulations to our Boys Track Team for placing 1st and our Girls Track Team for placing 3rd in the 2026 City-County Tournament!

Westlawn Falcons Cap Off Outstanding Track & Field Season

The Track & Field Falcons wrapped up an incredible season filled with hard work, determination, and impressive results across multiple meets.

Throughout the season, the boys team dominated the competition, earning four 1st-place team finishes and a 3rd-place finish before closing the season as City–County Champions at the Middle School City–County Championship held April 14 at Central High School.

The girls team also had a strong and consistent season, finishing 3rd place in four meets and closing the year with a 3rd-place finish at the City–County Championship, showcasing their resilience and competitive spirit throughout the season.

Under the leadership of Coach Wilder and Coach Jones-Pruitt, our Falcon student-athletes demonstrated teamwork, perseverance, and Falcon pride in every race, jump, and throw. Their dedication throughout the season helped build one of Westlawn’s most successful track seasons in recent years.

We are incredibly proud of our Falcon Stars for representing Westlawn with excellence both on and off the track.
